LOCAL SOLUTIONS

to help resolve regional dilemmas

OUR WORK

Manzanita Works supports workers and their families to live fruitful, dignified lives.

We design and build solutions to local problems that stem from regional dilemmas.

Just as the Manzanita plant supports our region’s oaks and redwoods,

we grow networks of locally-informed structures that connect on-the-ground realities.

To create community benefits and close gaps in the social safety net,

our Manzanita method and model generates and manages consortiums

that facilitate the collective purchasing and distribution of services and resources.

Social equity is their founding principle.

Working together, we can meet current and future community needs at practical economies of scale

that reflect where and how people live and work in our region.

OUR MODEL

Manzanita Works' model for consortium formation and management has been applied in transit and childcare since 2020 working with employers and property owners across public, private and voluntary civic sectors.

A new wildfire prevention consortium is in formation.
